Tasting Notes
Burghound – 91-93
(Outstanding) There is a whiff of the exotic to the aromas of both white and yellow peach, passion fruit, floral, spice and, somewhat surprisingly, a soupçon of muscat. The rich, full-bodied and concentrated medium weight plus flavors brim with sappy dry extract as well as exuding a subtle minerality on the bitter lemon-inflected finale that is a bit more complex and persistent. This isn’t a classic Caillerets but even so, there is much to like.
