Tasting Notes
Burghound – 92-94
Ripe yet cool and beautifully layered aromas include those of exotic tea, white peach and orange peel. The racy, sleek and attractively detailed middle weight flavors exude a subtle minerality on the strikingly long and impeccably well-balanced finale. This very classy effort should be excellent with a few years of cellaring.
Jasper Morris – 93-95
Fine pale lemon colour. The nose is tighter than Charms in one sense though the oak is a little more present. Extra intensity through the middle palate, with the more phenolic notes – in a pleasing way – of this vineyard, excellent crisp mineral acidity, and a perfect fruit intensity before the persistent finish.
