The 2020 Nuits Saints-Georges Les Bousselots 1er Cru comes from 50-year old vines on white marn soils raised in a 450-litre barrel. It has a refined floral bouquet, the oak nicely integrated with vibrant red and black fruit, hints of boysenberry jam and violet. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe black cherry and wild strawberry fruit, crisp acidity with a harmonious and reassuringly persistent finish. One of the standouts from Legros this vintage.
