Tasting Notes
Robert Parker – 90
The 2019 Bourgogne Blanc is showing especially well, offering up aromas of pear, citrus zest, hazelnut and nutmeg, followed by a medium to full-bodied, layered and impressively concentrated palate. Elegantly textural and fine boned, it’s a serious wine that punches above its weight.
Anticipated maturity: 2021-2039
Burghound – 88
An attractively fresh, elegant and pure nose features notes of mostly apple and pear along with floral and lemon rind whiffs. The delicious and notably rich flavors possess unusually good volume for a wine at this level while offering very fine depth and persistence. This is terrific in the context of what is typical for the genre.
