Tasting Notes
Burghound – 87
Once again there is a whiff of the exotic to the nicely floral suffused aromas of lychee and white peach. The round, supple and caressing middle weight flavors possess a bit more volume if less minerality on the refreshing finish that offers just enough depth and persistence to be interesting. This too should drink well young.
Decanter – 92
Nicolas Potel calls this the ‘flagship’ white of his domaine operation with some justification, as year in year out, it’s one of his best value wines. Smoky, leesy and refreshing, it has benefited from the higher yields in a hot vintage to produce a wine that’s fresh and crunchy with understated wood and an oatmealy mid palate.
