Tasting Notes
Vinous – 91
The 2018 Meursault Le Village actually comes from the “Le Village” lieu-dit, located (surprisingly enough) in the village and surrounded by walls. The 0.33 hectares of vines are in excess of 80 years old and tend to crop at around 20hl/ha. This has a very attractive bouquet of orange blossom and white peach aromas. The palate is well balanced with a vibrant, lightly spiced opening, veins of white chocolate infusing the tropical notes toward the finish. Stem ginger and a touch of rhubarb linger on the aftertaste. Excellent.
