The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru has a very detailed bouquet with killer focus; exquisite floral aromas reveal traces of blueberry and cassis and wonderful mineralité. The palate is medium-bodied with lucid blue and red fruit, fine saturated tannin and veins of blood orange and tangerine that fan out on the curry-leaf-tinged finish. There is a lot going on in this Les Amoureuses, one of Mugnier’s most captivating 2017s.
