This comes from a 1969 planting of chardonnay and pinot Gouges. In 2016 the chardonnay froze so the wine was just pinot blanc and thus Vin de France rather than appellation. Claire liked the wine and has continued it in 2017. Biscuity notes on the nose, some greengage behind, the thicker oily texture I know from tasrting with Alice & Olivier de Moor. Recognisably pinot blanc. [01/12/2018]
