Bright medium red. Red fruits and strong oak tones on the nose. Juicy, sweet and energetic; not a fat style but penetrating and taut, with fresh red berry flavors lingering nicely on the bracing finish. Cathiard noted at this point in our tasting that the pHs in 2012 are in the 3.35 to 3.45 range, or roughly the same as those of 2010.
