Tasting Notes
Burghound – 91
An unusually elegant and relatively high-toned nose for Mazoyères exhibits currant, raspberry, warm earth, underbrush and subtle spice and vegetal hints that are also background nuances on the rich, balanced and naturally sweet flavors that possess only moderate concentration but excellent focus and extract that coats the palate on the lingering finish. This is not a big wine but there is a lovely sense of harmony present as the tannins are unusually fine.
