Vinous – 87-91?
Red-ruby. Reduced, meaty aromas of leather and spice. Rich but backward, with firm acidity accentuating the somewhat rustic leather and pepper character of this very young wine. There’s a lot of material-and tannin-here, but this extremely unevolved sample is hard to assess.

Very true aromas, but very low-key at this stage. Fresh and frank, but without real Grand Cru weight.
