Tasting Notes
Vinous – 92
The 2003 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru has a ripe and sensual bouquet with black cherries, and orange essence, touches of fig coming through with time. The palate is dominated by the ripe and fleshy tannins, boysenberry and cranberry fruit, white pepper and spice towards the heady finish. There is ample freshness on the close on what feels like a very good effort considering the heat of that summer.
