In 1990 Roberto Voerzio bottled just 50 magnums of his Barolo Cerequio so it was a real treat to taste this wine from the larger bottle. The wine showed beautifully, with the telltale Cerequio notes of cocoa, spices, flowers and spices. Though still capable of another decade or so of aging, it was the most ready to drink wine in this super flight of 1990 Barolos.
