Magnum Very dark crimson. Big, bold and evolved nose. Ready to drink – luscious and peppery and spicy with real velvety gorgeousness – quite unlike so many of the tight furled 1986s. Great for now even if the tannins are slightly less sophisticated than some other vintages. Very long – just not very sleek. Rather rustic tannins – ancient regime.
