Vinous – 89
Red-ruby. Aromatic nose of currant and leather. Sweet and round, with a slightly candied, roasted fruit character. Nicely full and rich in the mouth. Finishes with lush, smooth tannins. Not far behind the Leoville-Barton in quality, and perhaps better for current consumption.
