Tasting Notes
Robert Parker – 85
Tasted at Pebbles/Zachy’s 1982 dinner in Hong Kong. As one would expect, this Pauillac has a very foursquare graphite scented nose with touches of bay leaf and decayed autumn leaves. It is nicely defined but lacking vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity. It is very conservative with a metallic tincture towards the finish. This has just turned the corner and is in gradual decline. Tasted November 2012.
Anticipated maturity: 2017-2022

Deep, with some evolution. Thick, dense and lively. Big, round and bloody. Mouthfilling. Plump and rumbustious.
Anticipated maturity: 2002-2012
