Robert Parker – 90-92
For many this was wine of the night at a blind tasting that I organized – a real revelation. A fine perfumed nose with notes of iron rust. Low intensity but good definition: unashamedly “traditional”. The palate is well balanced, light and quite feminine but very harmonious in a classic style (i.e. you can drink more than a glass.) Sweet red-berried fruits and cigar-box. Like a younger sibling of Lafite. Lovely poise. Offering great pleasure now.
