Tasting Notes
Robert Parker – 86
Tasted at The Ledbury Bordeaux lunch. At forty-years of age, the bouquet on this Saint Emilion has faded into anonymity despite coaxing, yet the palate has a brightness to it that is very appealing. Fine, brittle tannins, tart cherry interlaced with strong tobacco, leading to a dry but fresh finish that lacks weight but has decent length. Fine for its age. Drink now. Tasted July 2010.
